Whenever you play a sport and you have a game, you have to show good sportsmanship. If you are winning or loosing, good sportsmanship will make your team look good. You have to respect the other team.
When I have a game against other schools our coach always tells us to show good sportsmanship. If you do not show good sportsmanship then your team will look bad. Showing good sportsmanship will help you build good character with other people. You will be nice to them and will not have a bad mood.
During the games, if the other team makes a good play, it is always good
to congratulate them on the play. It has happened to me before. when I make a good play and a player from the other team says, "damm, that was a good play." After they say that it is always good to say "thank you." After every game, both of the teams line up and shake hands with each other and congratulate the other team. Everyone usually says, "good game." If you win or loose you still have to go up and shake hands. Good sportsmanship will help you in your life. Your attitude will be good and you will respect others.
